masala puffed rice

Well ..this is my first post to this blog ...and i hope i continue posting the recipes which i like and which are healthy ,tasty and tempting ...
so here goes my first post which is a very simple recipe of puffed rice ....
it is an evening snack ..in general eaten anytime of the day ...coz u would find lot of fans of puffed rice and i am the one ....puffed rice ...alternatively called as muri ..murmura...

so here i start on ...

Ingredients...
  • puffed rice (2 bowls )
  • 2tsp oil
  • mustard seeds
  • curry leaves
  • green chillies(slit them )-3
  • whole red chillies (optional)
  • peanuts
  • roasted chanadal (futana dal or roasted chana )
  • Sev (bhujia )
  • haldi
  • jeera powder (optional)
Method

Take oil in pan .
After it heats up..add mustard seeds ,curryleaves,red and green chillies
Fry them ..see that green cillies are properly fried so that there is no moisture content in that
then add peanuts ,roasted chana ...fry them for a while ..
then add haldi and puffed rice
add on bhujia ,jeera powder ..
Put the stove sim for 5-10 mts ..continuosly stirring
put off the flame ..
and the snack is ready to go down well with tea ,coffee ..or just like tht
